The AL-KO Kober Group was founded in 1931 by Alois Kober and began as a small welding shop. The AL-KO Group is currently managed by his three sons Herbert, Kurt and Willy Kober; and grandson Roland Kober.
AL-KO has grown to be an international markey leader with 40 companies throughout Europe, the United States, Australia and Asia. Together AL-KO employs more than 4,000 people world wide.
AL-KO is headquartered in Koetz, Germany, a small farming community in Bavaria. This is home to centralized engineering and quality control departments which insure worldwide consistency of AL-KO Products.
With the acquisition of RBW Industries, Inc in May of 2008, AL-KO adds another 35 years experience designing, producing and delivering room expansion systems, 5th wheel hitch systems, flat screen TV mounts as well as other RV components to the RV Industry.
